Get Ready for Fabulous February ’22 with Huge Events in Houston

This coming February and into March is a big month for RV campers and enthusiasts. With two events, you won’t want to miss either one of them!

Now the largest RV Show in Texas, participants can view hundreds of the best RV models on the market. Be sure to click on the link above to the official website for details on show layout, special events, parking info, participating RV dealers, and more.

RV shows are a fantastic way to see what’s out there in RV world, all in one location. Discover what type of RV is available for you and your family – it’s the perfect opportunity to buy an RV, since great deals can be had at the show. But whether or not you’re are in the market for a new RV, it’s still fun just to see all of the many models of RVs out there. It’s also a great way to rub elbows with fellow RV lovers.

Tips for Getting the Most Out of Your RV Show Experience

  • Do you research before you go. Visit the RV Show website to get a handle on how best to tackle your visit. Not all RV shows are created equal, and this particular RV show is huge, so it’s best to have a game plan and not get overwhelmed.
  • Consider what you are interested in seeing. Will you be a casual participant, or are you seriously in the market to purchase? If you are the latter, this RV show will help you narrow your search; it is a great way to see a little bit of everything.
  • Avoid the crowds. The weekend will be crazy during this RV show. If you prefer things a little less hectic, consider going on February 9 and/or 10th.

Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo – February 28 – March 20 at NRG Park

Simply put, this livestock show and rodeo is massive. It is nearly a month-long celebration of everything that the Lone Star State holds dear. Over the course of the rodeo’s illustrious history, the non-profit event has donated over 500 million dollars in educational grants and is one of the largest scholarship providers in the country.

Making its big, post-covid return, this year will be the 90th anniversary celebration, including an opening show by country superstar Cody Jackson, and ending with a huge show featuring the “king of country,” George Strait, on the last day of the rodeo, March 20th. Other great performing artists are on tap and will be announced after the New Year.

Get ready for the world’s most innovative rodeo. Ticket prices are at different levels depending on your choice of participation and can include concert admission, entrance to grounds activities, shopping and dining, the carnival, as well as interactive exhibits. Kids 2 and under get in FREE.

Other fun activities during the 21-day rodeo extravaganza include the World’s Championship BBQ Contest (Feb. 24-26), Rodeo Roundup and Go Texan Day and Trail Rides (Feb. 25), the downtown Rodeo Parade and Rodeo Run (Feb. 26), just for starters!
