Spring is here and it’s time to start thinking about getting out to a fun event, while also doing it safely. If you’re looking for things to do around Pearland in Spring, we’ve rounded up these fun festivals and community events just a short drive away from Pearland RV Park.

 

March 27, 28 – Houston Arts & Music Festival – Pearland

Located at Independence Park in Pearland in a fast-growing suburb of Brazonia county, this is a fantastic weekend of fun for the whole family. Come to enjoy concerts with national recording artists, professional artists with their fine art on display, classic cars and custom motorcycles, and great food and beer. The concerts will be taking place throughout the afternoon and evening on the main stage, and visual artists will be portraying the heritage and culture of the local community. Admission is just $10 for adults, and children under 12 are FREE.

 

April 17 – Texas Crawfish & Crab Boil Fest

This annual event is held just a few miles up the road from the resort in Houston. Louisiana meets Texas Creole & Cajun food – the best of both culinary worlds. Bring the whole family for fun, down-home eating, and lots of activities for the kids. Tickets are just $7-$10 for general admission. If you wish, you can upgrade to the VIP all-you-can-eat tent for $60.

 

April 24 – Houston Pizza Festival

Just up the road about 15 miles from Pearland RV park will be a gathering of pizza enthusiasts enjoying the finest pizza in and around Houston. Along with great pizza will be beer, wine, and other drinks, live music and shows, a kid’s fun zone, and even a pizza eating contest (must register to participate in the contest)! Tickets are $10-$15, and kids under 10 get in FREE.

 

2021 Pearland Opry on the Square

A fantastic program that brings in local and national acts to perform in a Grand Ole Opry-style show. Bring your friends, family, blankets, lawn chairs and coolers to enjoy an evening of western swing, traditional and contemporary country music. This event is FREE to the public and dates are coming soon for 2021. Perfect for two-stepping the night away. See their Facebook page for the latest.

 

The Friendswood Farmer’s Market

Just 11 miles east of Pearland RV Resort at Stevenson Park, every first Saturday of the month the organizers of this market to bring the community together just as it was in the old days – with fresh produce, artisan breads, local honey, scrumptious baked goods, and handcrafted items. Open year round (except in January and July) from 9 am to 1 pm. This is a great way to not only get some fresh food, but to get to know the local growers and vendors of the area.
