Guided Night Hike – March 18, from 8pm to 9:30pm

These Guided Nature Hikes are family-friendly evening hikes that take place at different nature hot spots around Pearland. Each hike is tailored-made to search for different varieties of local nocturnal wildlife such as Wild Night Hikes, Owl Prowls, and Bat Walks!

You’ll have a wonderful opportunity to learn from knowledgeable staff about the wildlife and natural environment found at the Shadow Creek Ranch Nature Trail. Participants in small groups will walk the trails with expert staff leading the way. They will point out interesting features, important habitats, and visit wildlife during the hike. Festival of Colors – April 2^nd at Pearland Town Center

Join the Greater Businesses of Pearland along with the Pearland Desi Gals for the 2022 Festival of Colors: Pearland Holi Extravaganza on Saturday, April 2! Visit Pearland Town Center for high-energy non-stop fun including traditional Holi color play (with washable colors!), a DJ and dancing, games, great food, and local vendors. The kids really love this event!

 

Brookside Village Farmer’s Market – every 2^nd Sunday of the Month from 9am – 1pm

Join the Brookside Village Farmers Market every second Sunday of the month. The organization supports local agriculture and benefits the Brookside Village, Pearland, and surrounding communities by providing a welcome space for local agriculture producers to meet with and sell to the community, while also educating about food production in the area. The market features local vendors including food producers, makers, area backyard gardeners, kids’ activities, and live music.

 

Old Pearland Farmers Market – every 3^rd Saturday of the Month at Independence Park 9am-1pm

Here in Texas, we love our farmers’ markets, so here’s another one! It’s a great opportunity to get to know the real food producers in the area. Join the farmer’s market fun under the pavilion at Independence. The market will feature local vendors lined up with fresh produce, eggs, honey, jelly, baked goods, music, food trucks, and much more. 2022 Pear Run – May 7 at Independence Park

The Pear Run is kicking off its return with a family-friendly 5k fun run on Saturday, May 7 at Independence Park! The event invites runners of all ages to join in for this “out and back” course that will start and finish inside the park.

The Pear Run is an annual fundraiser with proceeds used to benefit the Pearland CPAAA and the Pearland Police Department. Runners, joggers and walkers of various age ranges will receive a finishers medal and t-shirt for the first 250 registrants. So don’t delay, get your registration in today!
