Summer 2022 Events Near Pearland
Warmer weather is just around the corner, and here at Pearland RV Park we could not be more excited for the months ahead! We’ve rounded up the major summer events in Pearland to keep you entertained. So, if you’re wondering what there is to do in Pearland, Texas read on!
May 29-30 – Old West Fest Pearland. Relive the good ol’ days of the Old West with a weekend of fun. Featuring a performance by The Rustlers of Red Rock, there are a ton of things to do in the way of live music, artisan vendors, tasty food and drink at Food Truck Alley, and activities for the kids. The fun is located at Independence Park, from noon-8pm on Saturday, and noon-6pm on Sunday. And don’t forget, B.Y.O.C. (bring your own (lawn)chair!)
June 5 – The Peach Truck Tour. Did someone say peaches? We got ‘em! The Peach Truck has been delivering joy all around the eastern half of the U.S. and on Saturday, June 5 it rolls right here into Pearland! Pre-order is required, as these babies move lightning fast, and the truck is only here for a couple of hours. They’ll have 25lb. boxes of fresh peaches and 10 oz. bags of crunchy pecans as well. Hurry and order on their website by 5/31 to get the freshest peaches around.
June 13 – 1st Annual Car Show. The local Bayway Chevrolet and Dodge dealerships have partnered with Wheelchairs for Warriors to bring you a fun-filled afternoon of music, food, and cars! There will even be a crawfish boil! If you want to show off your wheels, there is a $30 entry fee per vehicle, which comes with a free t-shirt! A Live DJ will be offering up fresh tunes, and trophies will be awards for the best cars on show. Located at 5719 Broadway St, Pearland from 2 – 6 pm.
Fridays in May and June – Concerts in the Park. Southdown and Independence Parks in Pearland are hosting their ever-popular Concerts in the Park with a variety of musical stylings every Friday between 7-9pm. Enjoy everything from country, to dance, to salsa, to classic rock. There will even be a Beatles tribute band on June 25! Bring your blankets and lawn chairs. Food vendors will be there, or you can bring your own picnic, and there is a playground for the kids. No glass containers or smoking is allowed in the parks.
August 1 – Seabrook Waffle Co. Cars and Coffee. Every 1st Sunday of the month, this popular breakfast hangout adds some fine engines to their morning. From 8 – 9 am, enjoy your favorite brew (and some delicious breakfast food) while admiring your neighbor’s wheels.
