Sunday

Morning – Sleep in! Luxuriate in the unhurried pace of life in rural Pearland. Then hike the Shadow Creek Trail. You’ll see many birds and animals. In fact, Pearland boasts more bird species than any other area in North America.

Afternoon – Looking for a peaceful, beautiful place to offer your prayers? Sri Meenakshi Devasthanam is a Hindu Temple featuring real Indian architecture. Everyone is welcome in this unique and tranquil spot. Learn about another culture while sharing your own.

Evening – Feel like grilling vegetables for dinner tonight? Try Baty’s Fruit Stand & Palm Tree Nursery in nearby Arcola. Take a palm tree home with you, too.

Monday

Morning – Squeeze a little more fun out of your long weekend by visiting Centennial Park. Kids of all ages can play on the basketball courts. The park has walking paths, clean restrooms, and covered pavilions.
